Clinical Indications

Sirolimus is an immunosuppressive drug licensed for use in renal transplantation.

Combined Pathology Blood form (Yellow/Black or Blue for GP's)

Availability

Referred test: Analysed by the IMS Laboratory, Harefield Hospital.

Specific Criteria

Trough sample required: 2 - 4 hours before next dose

Patient Preparation

Samples should be collected before next dose (trough)

Lab. Handling

Processing: Store the whole blood EDTA at 4C in the separating fridge (CB39). Referral: SIRO and send.
